I think they're great. They don't provide quite as much coverage as the stock floor mats, but do a great job and hold tonnes of water/snow, etc.

Take a look at the archives and you'll find a lot of postings about these mats. They are very good but somewhat expensive. I didn't bother to cut mine to fit better, but they seem to fit fairly well anyway.

Default Received mine an hour before a Telluride to Alta ski trip.

My OE mats looked trashed after a few days here in southwest Colorado, mud, snow etc. For me there was no choice but to get a mat that will handle abuse.

I am pleased with the mats so far. They are heavy duty and fit pretty well with minor trimming. Visually they seem a bit'rugged" for the car but they are doing the job.

After removing ski boots in the parking lot at Alta in the middle of a blizzard with two buddies, I plan to buy the cargo liner for the trunk as well.

Default I have the front and rear and just got off the phone ordering the trunk - PICS on my website...more

They were supposed to call me when they finished designing the trunk liner, but as the associate said, they have had a number of new items come in recently, so I would have been called shortly. Either way, it's on it's way. Right now I have a few carpet samples and a picnic blanket lining my trunk. As I am a snowboarding every weekend, (I'm an instructor) I need the protection. Now the question is:

Do I cut out the holes to use the cargo liner, or do I preserve the safety of the 3" lip? Well, since I'm not even using my cargo net right now, I'll leave it without holes. For now.

here's pics of the other mats:

I see you have the "racing" seats.

Default don't bother getting any colored ones, stick with black. and they leak a bit on the edges (more)

I bought a set of gray ones hoping that they would match my Opal Gray interior. Fairly close, but after a summer sitting in my garage, I pulled them out this winter and they are a sickly shade of gray/GREEN and they have a slippery cracked top surface.

And if you look at Andy's pictures, water can slide off the edges of the non-channeled area directly under the pedals, and off to the left side of the floor carpet.

I don't know what the Passat mats look like...
