Default wheel damage at shop, question...

As I was leaving for Lake Tahoe for New Years, I noticed I had a flat and saw a nail in the tire. The car was loaded with our gear and was on our way out so really did not have a choice to pick where to go to patch the tire up. I ended up going to Penske Auto on Blossom Hill. Well, their machine dinged my rim up pretty bad. I got in writing from them that their machine did the damage and went to Wheel Technique to get an estimate yesterday, cost $145. I again went to the place that did the damage and they told me to bring them the reciept and they will then call corp to make a claim and send me a check. So is that standard precedure? For me to pay and them reimburse me? Has this happened to any of you?

Default Has anyone had a celebration 17" fixed? And if that the case..

Should I just tell the shop that did the damage to replace the wheel? How can i prove that it cannot be fixed? I dont want to go get it fixed, pay and not have it come out right, then try and collect fot the repair and a new rim.

It's unbelievable they admitted to the mistake, most corps (AoA) wouldn't do something like that.

Default the place I went to denied it, so I made them pull off the tire again and watch as it scratched

different spokes that were perfect.
