Whiring noise from the rear of the car?
Have a strange whiring noise coming from i want to say the passenger side rear but could be anywhere behind me. Its almost a finger on the wine glass noise but a lot lower in tone and it is not a constant noise. It happens once a rotation of the wheel as the car slows the noise slows with it. Quiet enough that after second gear it becomes difficult to hear.
Things checked are pads/rotors all look good swapped the wheels around didnt change anything no signs of rubbing anywhere back there.
Ideas maybe rear diff? seals and fluid changed only 6months ago. Wheel bearing? sound doesnt change while turning and it doesnt scream at me at high speeds?
