I went a year with a bad wheel bearing. Dealer did everything from align car to blame it on 2 different sets of tires. Finally someone stepped up and came through. Must have been the new kid, he needs a prize. My car is dead silent now, as far as road noise goes.
I had heard bad bearings before, they have all been gridning sounds. This was a new sound, like an out of round tire, a cupped tire, or what have you. A rhythmic whomp whomp sort of. If anyone has that and can't find a cure, it's the wheel bearing.
Now I gotta find a trudual to replace my VM1.
