ok im sooo pissed i dont have any mods or anything but i lost to a maxima with 6 people in wtf. oh my god GRRRR !@!#$ ..... the more i drive the more i think the car is a slow *** CAR. i think ill go and !@#$ chip my car this weekend GRRRRRR at least GRRRRR

1) Maximas are pretty fast cars so don't feel -that- bad.

2) Don't bitch about your car being slow if you haven't even modded it. It's not like it's hard to come by a car that's fast, stock. Buy a Mustang. If you're unhappy with the speed, like I was, start modding. At least install a chip and exhaust.

But hey, you bought the car, you should have realized it was slow when you got it heh. A4's are *not* really fast cars, you can make them quick and fun with a few cheap mods, but the A4 is not a drag-racer. You can't bitch about the car being what it is, because that's what it is meant to be, and that's what you paid for when you got it. It's not like you were fooled into buying a "fast car" and then realized it wasn't. Like I said, if you want fast, go buy a Mustang or something.

the only think the 1.8 has going for it is the quattro oh and it looks nice oh and has somewhat of a better interer than other cars on the newer models at least. ... ok that made me feel a little better ... why this car is all dressed up and nowhere to GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

A Civic Si, stock, is faster than an A4 stock. The A4 is pretty pitiful in terms of speed without mods. It gets to be tolerable and fun after mods. And you hit on some of the main points why A4's are still such popular cars. The quattro is an oustanding aspect of the car, and I would pit the A4's interior against any car out there of the same price. And, yes, the car looks frickin' awesome, especially with a couple aesthetic mods. But another thing the 1.8t engine in general has going for it is its moddibility. If you own a 1.8t engine stock, you shouldn't really bitch about it, because you haven't even done some of the easiest/cheapest speed mods on the market to make it faster.

audi's aren't really meant for drag racing. If you really want to see where you car shines, go to a race track and race that maxima that beat you. Then see who wins.
