Default Will this design increase airflow and performance?

<center><img src="http://www.steigelman.com/dual_intake.jpg"></center><p>Hey,

I was just wondering, is two cone airfilters better than one? Take a look at the picture to see what i'm saying. I think i've seen this before but not on audi's.

Thanks,
Eric

Default well, that looks like a wrench with two thimbles on it so I doubt it. J/K :)

I'd think that would be a minimal gain.

What you should do is run two aluminum ducts to your wheel wells for cooler/more air.

Default He said . .a company named Green makes a two cone induction setup for VW 1.8ts that might fit but

the MIGHT was a BIG might because the 1.8t they make it for sits transverse rather than longitudinal.

Just using a filter that flows more air will help.

Using that logic, why not 3 instead of 2? 4 io 3...you get the picutre. All you need is 1 good unit
