Will this design increase airflow and performance?

I was just wondering, is two cone airfilters better than one? Take a look at the picture to see what i'm saying. I think i've seen this before but not on audi's.

well, that looks like a wrench with two thimbles on it so I doubt it. J/K :)
I'd think that would be a minimal gain.
What you should do is run two aluminum ducts to your wheel wells for cooler/more air.

the MIGHT was a BIG might because the 1.8t they make it for sits transverse rather than longitudinal.
