Windshield crack
I pull the A4 out of the garage with intentions of washing and waxing. After I pulled it out and it sat in the driveway for about 5 min, I hear something that sounded like ice cracking.. Look at my windshield, a crack started from the bottom of the passenger side of the windshield and spread to the center of the windshield.
I had the windshield replaced back in 2001 by Safelite. I called them up this morning and they said it should be covered under warranty if there is no point of impact on the glass.
This ever happen to anybody?
They also wanted to know if the car was built before 2000. Did Audi change the shape of the windshield after 2000?
