Taxes in some countries overseas are ridiculously high for bigger engines....
>2.0 I think it's a move to get around that. I wonder if the 1.8TFSI will ever make it to the US.

2nd. the added displacement goes a LONG way with in addition to the
head design that was used for the engine which flows insanely well ( I will see if I can get some baseline numbers from our tech who put it on his flow bench).
