Default with an x-chip would you need a tt bpv?..

and are they pretty easy to install? i was thinking about having the dealer throw it in next time it's in, but if it's easy i'll just do it myself some weekend. btw i plan on going x-chip in feb or march when i'll have the funds.

thanks

chip

Default You can use your stock one but it is prone to tear with more boost esp the x chip...I reccomend....

the TT one because its only about 30$ and it functions the same as the more expensive ones out. Its a very easy install as long as you have the car on ramps or something. Should only take half hour.

Default Definitley a lot stronger than the old chip

and I like it a lot. I am a little concerned about over-working the turbo and such, but I am rarely above normal boost levels so it shouldn't be an issue.

Default yep...going to try and get some logs soon to analyze

I rarely use more boost than I would with a regular chip, so I don't think it will be problematic. If it was a constant 20psi, regardless of throttle than there would be issues.
