Default Xenons from Xenonshop.com

Does anyone know if they will work well or not with the current headlight assemblly on 2001.5 A4 1.8tq. I've already ordered (I guess the bulbs and ballasts are made by phillips?????)

Any helpful install tips?

Any info at all?!?!

Thank you. The more info the better.

I am new to Audi and this board. You guys have helped a lot

This is with the euro HALOGEN housings. They also worked well with the US halogen housings.

Default If it's the same Phillips kit that SPP sells, then, "yes" they will work fine with your

current housings. As far as install tips, email me when you get the HID kit, if you want, and I'll email you some pics of some of the things I learned from my roomate when he did it and then helped me. There are a few techniques that aren't immediately apparent from the instructions that do help, IMHO. I'm helping install another set in plug1's car tomorrow, so I should be pretty wizened by that then. It's really easy to do once you have a few pointers from those who have gone the road before you.

Default Euro vs. US...

Euro has clear corners, and a covering for the corner light, so the bulb isn't exposed. DIfferent beam pattern (brighter, more coverage area).

Default yup. perfect swap, depending on..

If you wan the "true euro" setup, which I did. This consists of...wiring city light to some on instead of corner light (15w bulb in high beam portion of housing), low beam turns off city light. Corner lights are used for blinker ONLY. This requires some wiring and relays. If you don't want all that, it's just a straight swap. You can get them at a couple of places online.
