Hey guys,

I have been lookiing at a couple of these with 40-50k miles on them, 1.8T quattro automatics. I need something with decenet gas mileage that can still handle some now days when needed (hence the quattro and 1.8T).

My question is, how reliable are these? Can I still purchase one of those aftermarket used car warranties on an A4 of this year and should I?

How expensive is maintenance/routine fixes? What are the problem areas?

Not going to lie to you, AUDI's can cost a "grip" maintenance wise but they are generally very reliable, providing that you keep up with the general maintenance...


If you are mechanical(car) wise, you can save money doing stuff yourself, as with any car. (still, parts can be expensive, depending on what's needed)
