Default The dealership dropped the ball...

Gather all paperwork showing all service and maintenance done as proof of having it handled properly using Audi's recommended service plan. You're still under factory warranty. As long as you have followed factory guidelines, then you've met the requirements for coverage. Audi of America should favor you after their investigation is done.

Since no moficiations were done to the car, they can't deny warranty coverage because of that. If they do, then the dealership is lying to you and Audi of America. Your lawyer should have more than enough data to use as evidence to prove that this stock A4 should be covered by this disaster.

Don't hate Audi, just hate the dealership. If you are awarded coverage, I hope you'll get another A4, but from another dealer. This is the first and only time I've heard of fires with the A4.

Default new user ..only 8 posts...this a legit thing...?

So, you havent ever been on AW..except to say bad things about Audi? If this is legit..I feel for you man...but if this is just slandering the opposition...not good at all.

If this is legit..I would pursue it through normal legal channels.

This is why I posted the picture. The experience I am having is so crazy that I couldn't believe it myself. Fire is on thing but the whole customer service issue is another. This is a big safety issue and I felt that people should know. I was lucky, others may not be as fortunate.

It can't be slander if it is 100% factual. Just because I'm a new user, doesn't mean I can't be legit. You were once a new user also.

I thought the X5 did that since they were prone to faulty wiring with the cooling fans.

FYI, File some paperwork with NHTSA, so they keep track of totals correctly.

Thanks, I see that you have a 2007 335i sedan. How do you like it? Might be the replacement vehicle.

Default I love it...

I really like Audis..and quattro..I am just taking a short hiatus from Audi right now...

The 335i goes like snot..but some owners are experiencing issues with fuel pumps being defective..and BMW wasnt prepared to replace as many as they have seen. I am very happy with my purchase.
