Default 6 Spd Shift ****, How is it removed? (more)...
Unlike my previous sticks, on my '03/3.0, the thing just doesn't twist off. After poping off the shift boot bracket, it all looks like it is attched to the stick and the boot w/a pinch clip. Do I have to break that clip to remove? What about the re-install? Just about to install the Neuspeed SS. Just puzzled about reusing the ****...

I was able to pinch the clip off - if it breaks, you can use a ziptie or the like.
