Default Any one in AZ have good luck negotiating???

I leased my car originally through a dealership in CA. I'm getting close to the end of my lease, 6 payments left. I started talkin to a local dealer in Scottsdale, and I told them what my payments currently are. They said they couldn't come close to my payments unless I put about $2k down. WTF? My current payments are $415.08 with tax, $383.98 on a 39 mth lease, 12k miles/yr. This is for a 1.8T QMS,Xenon and Bose. I think I got the Luxury package too...not sure. Anyhow, the sticker price was around $32,900 or so. I am thinkin about doing a 42 mth lease with 12k miles, on a '05 with the same options, which would lead to a sticker price of about $34k. Anyone have a good dealer / salesperson that will move on price??? I just want to sign and drive, nothin out of pocket. Am I gettin hosed in AZ? I don't know what other people are paying right now.

Default Were you talking with someone at the North or South dealership?

I know they have been leasing S4s for 499 a month. I'd imagine a 1.8T would be way less.

Default Start negotiating online...

it's much easier.

And find a different dealer, they're trying to rip you off.

It was the South....

So what is the price that I should at? I thought what I got on my original deal was pretty decent. They thought it was very low...

Default If they are jerking you around go talk with someone at the North dealership.

Go up there and talk with either Steve Baca or Geoff. I've bought two cars from Steve and Geoff is an active member in the local Audi community. Neither of them will give you too much grief. Good luck!

The best deals were during the last week of December. I could have gotten a 3.2 TT Coupe for $38K which originally sticker for $44K at Beaudry Audi in Tucson, so give them try. I would start with $500 above invoice and with till the end of the month. IMHO, because of limited competition Audi Dealers in AZ take advantages.

I will try the South dealership again. Thing is, they are both owned by United Auto Group...which basically sells every brand of automobile in the Scottsdale area. I guess worst case scenario, I can lease one from out of state and have it shipped. I don't pay anything more than a few hundred for shipping in a climate controlled trailer =) My buddies dad does all the shipping for Barrett Jackson, and omost of the shipping for the SEMA shows, to name a few.

Thanks for all your help. I will keep everyone posted as to what happens. I just purchased my first home, so I have to wait until close before I do anything firm. =)
