Default Anyone care to take a guess as to what's wrong with my car ?

All of the windows go down from my driver side controls. However, the rear left window won't come back up using the driver side controls. The window will go back up if I reach back and use the switch on the door and it also works if I hold lock on my key.

So how does the driver door switch for the back left window stop working, and for only 1 direction at that?

Default same thing with my car...

only this happened to a couple different windows at different times.

Is there any chance that you left your windows down in the rain, or let the controls get wet in any other way? For me, I'm certain this was the cause. I have a bad habit of leaving my windows down (since I drive windows-down a lot), and the controls have gotten wet from time to time. This causes some fritzy behavior, but if I actively dry out the controls, or practice good, dry procedures over time, they correct themselves (for the most part).

If they have gotten wet recently, try drying them under a hot light or something, or even removing the controls and drying them that way. Otherwise, I suspect you have a faulty switch on your driver's door, and that would need to be replaced.

Default have you tried the reset procedure?

i think it was on that az easter egg post a while ago....you hold the switch up for 5 seconds then hold it let the window go down and then hold it for 5 more seconds, and then i think its reset.

Default The switch is dead

I had it where only my driver side switch was malfunctioning. It wouldn't let me raise my window after lowering it.
