I've had it for about 9 months now.
If you don't have plans to SC, then I'd take chipping route. otherwise I'd put that money towards a SC.
GIAC flash took care of throttle response to some extent. It also freed up in the upper RPM range, but you'd hardly notice it in the normal street driving.

I have the GIAC chip combined with a Stratmosphere Hyperflow and Neuspeed exhaust.
None of the individual add ons does much alone. But together, the engine feels noticeably stronger especially in the mid range.
