Default Anyone have any how-to on removing the shift ****?

I want to upgrade my shift ****. Anyone have any how-to? Also, any recommendations on one to get?

open the ashtray. then pop out the shift boot panel with your hands, no screws, just clips. The **** is held with a clamp, you'll need to pry that off. Btw, you can't use that clamp again once remove so make sure you have something to replace it. hope that helps.

Thanks! Im guessing something like the Momo Race Air series will fit ok (it has set screws)?

I haven't changed my **** yet. But I installed a short shifter, that's how I know. Momos ***** should fit. But not sure how the original boot will. Haven't looked into that yet.
