Default Anyone here using a dry cell Optima battery as their main power source?...
I'm just curious about the benefits. Obviously if you listen to the radio a lot with the engine off you will benefit from this but what about the weight difference? and are they good enough to be used as a starter battery?

Default I use one on my hot rod, but I use it because of the cranking amps.
However, I would imagine that the more power a battery can supply, the longer the charge will last.
