Art Car A4 courtesy of Bayou Wash
Car: 2005 A4 3.0 Sedan, Brilliant Black, 6MT
Intro: While I was away on business, my wife was eating out at a favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. A women comes in announcing that she has hit someone's Black Audi.
Damage & Repair: Crease in rear right wheel arch. Broken Paint. Scuffs. I told my wife via electronic transmission, how to take care of it. She took it to the body shop, they fixed the shape, and repainted the whole side. I made her aware that Audi may use water based paints. Paint and bodywork looked fine upon my return. Surprisingly.
Sitch: My wife, recently, upon some access of a conjured memory, took the 4 3 through a car wash. I was actually on the phone with her while she was in it, and I inquired of the strange brushing noise I heard. I demanded that she exit the carwash immediately. I hoped for the best. However, the best can only be hoped for and in this case my hopes were useless. The paint looks a lot like Gogh's Starry Night, which if you like Art Cars could possibly be desirable.
Question: What do I do? Who can repaint an Audi? Do I have to bring it out of the state of Louisiana?
As some sort of consolation, my wife has submitted sincere apologia in the form of "At least it wasn't the S."
