Bummer..
Car was exactly one week old when the Check Engine light came on last Sunday. Took it to the dealer, my Cam Shaft Adjuster Sensor is not working. They have to order the part from Germany. Anyone else have this problem? Don't remember reading about it here.
Guess I'll be tooling around in my loaner till next week...1.8 Quattro (2001) Black with beige interior (yuck).

can't be that bad...
i had a check engine light come on three days after picking up my A4 and they gave me a Mitsubishi Mirage to drive. I was pissed. My problem was a air purge value i believe.

Re: Bummer..
Yeah, can't really complain too much about the loaner..the (yuck) was for the color, not the car btw. The dealer did offer to have me come in and trade the car in for something better once he knew it would take a few days...the car rental co. did have a few mercs on the lot...but it's no big deal...I'll keep the little guy(1.8) :-)

Re: Bummer..
I have seen this before...I am an audi tech in florida and we have been having problems with the intake came sensor on the drivers side bank with the 3 liters. It must happen twice to throw a check engine light. We stock that item but it may be backordered at this time. I hope this helps.
