Local dealership tried to charge me $1,200 for replacing A/C condensor, drier and o-rings. I didn't want to let them do that because I doubted all of them needed to be replaced and was too expensive. I found some after market condensors are just $160 - $170 but not sure they are fit to my 2002 A4 1.8T. Anyone have used after market condensor? or can recommend any website to order those parts? I feel they - dealer shop - don't make efforts to fix something but just replace the parts.

 

You can find a good used condenser for lots less.
