Default haha. well the easiest way is to just tap into the wire from the already powerd light

it's the grey with white stripe. or #6 on the harness. inside the trunk pop the tabs on the sidewalls by the lights. remove the one screw holding in the assembly. pull out the spare tire for easier access to the 2 nuts holding the plastic guard at the base of the trunk and pull up on it to unsnap it. pull the carpet back. it's kinda tough. but it snaps out like the plastic piece did. then run a wire with the harness inside the car. run it along the back of the trunk and back out the other side and tap in to the #6 wire. put that **** back together and be prepared to hear all about it from everyone else that's kind of a quick run through. if you have any specific Q's just ask. it only take a few minutes.
