Default Car Alarm

I have a 2002 A4 1.8t that I bought from a friend. When I got it, the car alarm, lights and horn, would go off randomly in front of a friends house where I keep the car parked. This became a problem because the area is a nice suburb and there are plenty of small children living in surrounding houses. The alarm would go off in the middle of the night for no reason, I know because I was hanging out when it would go off, I would use my key to disengage the alarm, and shortly after it would go off again. I decided to leave the doors unlocked and to my dismay, the alarm was still going off randomly. I then took the fuse out that, according to the manual, was the circuit for the alarm and interior lights. The alarm still was going off. I took it to an Audi dealership and they couldn't find anything wrong with it, couldn't even trip the alarm...same old story. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on? I have a few theories but would like some input

I thought about this, or any animal in the area, but the alarm goes off in random places also, like a parking lot or in other driveways. Thanks though
