Default that IS BS! That moisture, into an electrically charged unit is fn wrong.

i dont care what anyone says, especially some service writer who makes bonus on keeping costs down. If I had'nt drilled that corner, I'd have a new one on there so fast, the car would gain 10 hp! Why is it the R side?

Default you would think so the way some handle obvious issues

but with that said, I've been lucky to have a great dealer, and svc dept.

Default You have to try to understand....

It's not always just up to the dealer. Any dealer is a business just like any other. If Audi isn't going to reimburse the dealer for a warranty claim, the dealer eats it. I can understand it can be frustrating at times. (And that includes me, I have 2 B6's.) It's frustrating on our side of the fence too. But, if the warranty policy is written one way, and a dealer doesn't follow it, they end up eating expensive parts and labor, which means higer labor charges for out warranty work which most people feel is ridiculously too high as it is. I guess my point is, dealers don't write the warranty policy, AoA does.

Default I do understand that, and have

managed many companies, retail businesses, and certainly understand the bottom line. I just like my dealer to advocate for me, and mine does.
AoA gets to know the dealers that do it the right way, I would bet. and I'm sure that AoA does'nt want the customer phone call if the dealer for some reason cannot meet the customers expectations at that level.

Default That all gets reflected in CSI

Don't get me wrong, I know there are some "non-stellar" dealers out there. That goes with any car line.
Personally, I'll do what I can, but that's just me.

Default The only thing moisture can do is short out a bulb or all of the bulbs... more...

and in that case AoA will replace the bulbs. But that, of course, doesn't take care of the initial problem.

Oh well. I'm honestly not sure why AoA won't fix this problem... maybe because it's not critical and the B7 is out so soon anyway......
