cheapest 02 a4
For all of you who have gone to an audi dealership, how much were the lowest priced base models? maybe with CVT only but nothing else (frontrack 1.8T CVT)? The sticker prices I guess?

i think you are looking at 28-29ish, most of the time a car on the lot
has at least 2-3 options, especially the sunroof. if you ordered, you could probably bring down the price, but you would have to wait.

Sticker. Dealers make less on the base cars, not as much room in general.

I think it still depends on where you are. A4 standard list goes on and on, not like some car manuf. where I came from. you want a sunroof, fine, 500. but if you want to open your sunroof, you have to use your hand to roll that little stick. if you don't want exercise too much in your car, another 200.
back to your question, the posts I read are about 1000-1500 over invoice (I think one of us got 800 over invoice, don't know how he did it though). but you have to order the car and it's about 90 days wait time. agian, depends on where you are.

"it cheapens the value of all Audi's to buy a base model" ? Go for it if
you want to spend a mint and get a car where the doors ding and the paint chips just as easy as one costing~$12,000 less. I am pretty sure Audi sells plenty of cars less than $35k and will continue to do so. If he says base cars cheapen "the look" of his car then I say over-loaded small cars are a waste. Why not go for a S6? or at least an A6 2.7t if you care what other people think about you. Nevermind the fact people enjoy their cars regardless of what they choose to spend. It's even possible to enjoy a less costly car more.

35k? i hope you're talking canadian money not US! I am looking for US values by the way. I am really looking for a base(CVT) around $27k-$28max, hopefully closer to $27k

You will have to order a car if you want the minimum. All...
of the early production cars are coming with
several options. The big one being sunroof.
The frontrack cvt is roughly $26,600 sticker. Add another $450 if you want metallic or pearl effect paint.

Base car might be a good idea
How 'bout a base car and put the six grand of savings into a PES turbo kit, shocks/springs and a front spoiler. Who needs a heavy sunroof and heated seats anyway?
