Default Clicking noise behind dash?

Hey all-

Shortly after I start my car, I notice a clicking noise coming form the dash/stereo area. At first I thought it was the cd changer switching disks or something, so i tried turning the stereo and the AC to off. I still hear the noise and it appears to move sometimes it will click behind my stereo, and then click behind the dash, then back and forth. There is no pattern to it, it is simply random. It sounds sort of similar to the clicking noise that the car makes when its really hot outside and the door panels expand and contract.

Any ideas?

Have you been keeping coins in the credit card holder or ashtray? They can fall behind.

Yes, I've experienced the same thing. My car is an '04.5. I don't recall if the "econ" function has anything to do with it (I usually run with a/c compressor off), but it seems to be some kind of climate control procedure, like interior flaps adjusting. More concrete info, anyone?
