while making my journey home tonight, highways were quite empty. Decided to open it up a bit, hehe.

I know that if I'm around 3k RPM's in 4th, 5th or 6th and I give it gas, about half way down or WOT, the clutch will chatter a bit till it clears 4k RPMs.

So while opening it up, I was in 5th gear, about 4k RPMs, ~95MPH. I gave it half throttle depresses, not WOT. I didn't feel/hear any clutch groan or chatter but I thought I did smell a very faint hint of a burning smell? Could that have possibly come from my clutch? I figured at 4k RPM's, its in good boost/torque range so I wouldn't let the clutch chatter...

I pulled over, no burning smells under the hood, turbo however was pretty damn red.

Did I do any damage to my clutch?

I get chatter/vibration (gear chatter) with the LWFW in any gear under 2900rpm.

so I don't see how I could have roasted it. I stayed in 5th the entire time, never changed gears, foot on the deadpedal.

Others here have told me that clutch chatter is when I hear that groaning noise when flooring it in high gears at lower speeds, ie 3k RPMs.
