Creeking Noise: Solution!!!! (follow up to old post)
#11
Same creeking here..driving me nuts! Will drive with rear seats down tonight to see if that's it.
I'll definately use this post for reference when i bring it in. It usually happens when I come from my driveway, when each wheel hits the street. Also
on big potholes when the car bends.
THANX!

sunroof creeks went away in the rain...
Its been raining here the last few days, and it no longer creeks in the rain. I guess since the two surfaces that were rubbing now have water between them, they are lubricated. Oh well... will see if it returns in drier weather...

Got the same creaking and chirping also near rear pillars
I took the car to the dealer and they diagnosed rear sway bar bushings were noisy. They removed the sway bar and cleaned, lubricated, and reinstalled. The car was quiet -- for about 2 days.
I'm now convinced that it's the rear seat latches. If I open and then relatch the seats, the noise is gone but returns within a day or two.
I'm going back to the dealer with some of the other posts -- I've got to get rid of those noises or I'll go nuts.
I haven't noticed any noises around the sunroof.
