Default I highly recommend Dell.

Gateway is great too...good stuff for decent money. My g/f got a 3.2(?)ghz, 1gb ram, 250gb hd for like 1300. Also has a DVD burner and a LCD screen.

Or www.slickdeals.net or www.fatwallet.com.

Dell ALWAYS has coupons or freebies out, but most people don't know about them. There occasionally are some great coupons out, like $750 off a $1500 purchase. Just check out those two websites (above) and you'll find some great deals.

Default dell=sell outs

anyone try their supposedly awesome customer service... might as well kiss that goodbye

unless you are bilingual and or w/e they speak its nearly impossible to convey an issue at hand with them

also i called sony for warranty info last week and at one prompt they said to proceed hit 1 or something and it told me i would be billed $20 for this call! omg i nearly **** my undies.

moral of story they are all the same
