Default Yes...and it's come in handy quite a few times...
On a side note though, it's nothing special...my sister's 1995 Honda Civic EX has the same thing. :P

Default Yeah....ppl say it blocks the sun...
But its much more effective at blocking out the sunroof/map lights when they're illuminated and you have your non-auto dim mirror in the dim position.
