Does anyone get the A/C compressor groan at idle?
I've noticed a lot of 3.0 owners mention that they get this at 1200-1600 RPM, but I get it at idle. Extremely annoying; dealer says it's normal (but of course!)
What is to be done about this?

Has it been very warm where you are lately?
I notice a direct correlation between outside temperature and the intensity of the groan. Obviously, this is because the harder the compressor works, the louder it groans.
Do you notice this as well?

Not really for me....around 70-80F. I usually don't turn my climate control on until it get's over
80F.
The groan getting louder with warmer temps makes sense. The groan is most likely coming from the AC compressor. When the Outside temp is warmer the system holds your evaporator temperature cooler which increases the AC pressure, which int turns makes the compressor work harder. Thus the louder groan.
