Next-gen passat is the PQ46 based on the MKV golf/jetta platform

The Passat is the same as the B5 A4 chassis if memory serves

The current Passat had some tweeks mid-life, so it's sometimes referred to as a B5.5.

NO. The B6's chassis as nothing in common with the Passat. The B5 does.
