E-Codes (again)
I know this has been discussed over and over again, but I'm getting conflicting info in my searches on AW, AZ, etc.
Who currently is offering a good deal on HID E-Code headlight housings (non-S4 version) for the B6. I'm looking for the ones (Valeos?) that need the ballasts, and bulbs from my US versions that will plug in and work with no further modifications. Am I right to assume that this is the easiest and least expensive way to upgrade to e-codes?
I called EPI and they no longer carry them. Eric at SPP tells me that the ones he has takes considerable modifications but doesn't give me details. I've also read that the retailers are getting burned by the Euro vs. Dollar exchange and can't offer the $600 price they've been selling them in the past for.
Any info is appreciated.

Since you have OE Xenon, all you need is the HID E-Code housings - usually $599, last I looked.
They are plug and play housings. You just switch over your internals. I bought the "Complete HID S4 B6 E-Codes" from EPi to upgrade from OEM Halogen, but since you have Xenon, the housings are all you need. They are OEM [Valeo].
