error in the 2005 A4 computer
i just got a 2005 a4 and noticed something strange. on the central readout of average miles per gallon, instead of X MPG, it says X MPH. this is a really small problem but am curious if every single new a4 is like this. take notice on the keyboard how G and H are right next to eachother. looks like a typo...
anyone else w/ a new a4 1.8T notice this?

Re: you sure it's not average mph? Have you tried resetting it and driving really slow or fast?
well...i did think of that, but then i tried to piece it together. the sticker mpg range for the a4 is 21 29 or something like that. i drive on highways and freeways a great deal of the time so it seems fair to the mp(g) assumption that the number i'm seeing is 28. 28 could very well be my average mpg. it is more likely that its my average mpg than my average speed as, like i said, i drive on freeways and highways a lot. my average speed would be higher i think. i'll play around with it though.
