I've got some questions about your Parrot Bluetooth install. I've got the Bose stereo and the kit will not plug and play as a result. Would it be possible, or even a good idea, to hack into the wire harnesses for the kit? Is it THAT good?! Thanks.

I don't think I would cut wires for something like this, if there is a good alternative phone kit.

The Parrot car phone kit works great, but the only real advantage is the fact that its wireless, and that you don't need a phone console.

To me, those advantages were of great importance because I didn't want a console to clutter the interior. (Plus that its cool to be able to call with the phone in your pocket ).

But these features also have drawback (I can live with): Your phone battery isn't charged, you're using the phone antenna instead of an external one, and you still need the phone keypad within reach if you need to press numbers for keytones and auto response systems.

If you don't mind mounting a console, I'd go for a cheaper plug-n-play option if there is one.
