filled up with 100 octane with APR's Stage 1+
It ROCKS like I cant describe.
Those who ask "Can you really feel the difference with a chip?"
YES. I felt a NICE difference from stock to 93, with Stage 1+.
Now, with this 100 octane program turned on, with the 100 fuel, the difference in power from 93 to 100 is TWICE the difference I felt from standard A4 power to the chipped.
I have a tiptronic, and when in S mode, it TAKES OFF!

my guess is about 220-225 total output, considering
stage 1+, nothing else. its quite a difference, believe me.
honestly though i could care less about the numbers at this point, it just feels great!

Careful... you'll become a 100 proof addict...
I did this in my 200+hp '00 Beetle 1.8t, (AMS chip & more) with a couple full tanks and once I cut back, the car felt like a slug. But was it ever fun with that 100 octane.
The more power there in the first place, the bigger the boost in hp. I have read articles about 300hp +/- engines gain another 50+hp just from 100 octane.
I only have 91 octane here in SoCal, so to keep it around 92/93 octane, I would just cut in about 2 gl of 100 octane. It's $4.69 at the pump! I have since gone back to 91 only.

I paid about 1300 for everything I got from APR....
including APR Stage 1 +
with the TT injectors
3 programs - stock, 93 and 100 octane
anti theft
and a little teeny sticker.
it was soldered i believe. yes, it was soldered.
I just had some issues with them programming Stage 1 alone (not the +), yet installing injectors as if it was programmed Stage 1+. Created a mystery for MONTHS until we all figured out that they simply needed to reprogram it to be Staeg 1 PLUS.
Once all that was done, NOT A PROBLEM, in fact it is like a dream come true for any A4 owner who is less than satisfied with stock performance.
To me, personally, just getting a chip without injectors is pointless. Miniscule if any response. NEED THE INJECTORS, and hell, why not get 100 octane program at the same time?
Now i need to find a full exhaust for a tip, and some stiffer springs (vs. audi stock) and I should be a happy man.
Then I will work on interior mods such as XM, etc.
