Default Finally got around to doing my valve cover gasket this afternoon

was an easy job, a definite DIY for most folks. The underside of the valve cover had a little buildup, but the internals look good otherwise as far as I can tell. Did an Auto-RX treatment around 100k, now at 113k miles and counting.

Default no, I put in fresh plugs after cleaning, but the car hasn't been cold to test

will find out tomorrow AM I guess. If it's still there, fuel filter is the next suspect.

Default looks like the right tool, but I didn't do the CTG yesterday

the VCG needed to be done asap to help diagnose my cold start issues. I'll go ahead and order the CTG and the tool and attack that in the near future

Default The one from the dealer tool website appears to be the cheapest...

I ordered a few things on that website for my wheel bearings (sleeves, thrust discs, etc...). They are made by Snap-On, the service is really quick, and the prices are actually not that bad at all.
