Gas mileage on your 2002 A4 1.8ts ??
It seems like my gas mileage is not so good ..
im getting really really low 20's with 1/2 city 1/2 highway ...
even on highways when i watch the trip computer, i get 20-24 on highway .. keep it at 27-28 is tough
is it just me ??

30.8 MPG (per trip computer)
I got 30.8 mpg on a recent highway jaunt of 90 miles at average speed of 85 mph. Last tank averaged 20.1 mpg with 60% city/40% highway. This is close to what I was getting in my '99 Miata 5 Speed. According to previous posts, mpg improves as engine loosens up. I have 700 miles on car.

I get 21 mpg according to the trip computer...
Perhaps the lack of powers has something to do with the poor numbers. Since it is a relatively heavy car with less than ideal power, you have to have your foot to the floor all the time to make it get out of its own way. I love the car, just wish it had more power.

Averaged 26.2 over the past 4224 miles (actual measured) - 1/3 rolling hills, 1/3 freeway, 1/3 city.
I get this using 91 Octane Chevron (highest octane we can get here at 5500 ft. elevation). I got about 1 mgp less when I bought my gas in the neighboring county which required Ethenol during the Winter (it was cheaper there but I'd rather keep the alcohol out of my gasoline - after all, the 1.8T is already an ultra low emission engine).
