Default general service question

we had the front struts replaced on our '97 A6Q Wagon last week. When I picked it up and went home, it pulled to the right pretty good when I let the car coast. It wasn't doing that before I dropped it off.

I called my service advisor and he said usually changing struts wouldn't cause alignment issues. He said he would take a look at it tonight and if it needs, he'll do a front end alignment...but the question is, should I have to pay for the alignment or not? If it wasn't doing it before they changed out the struts and then it started doing it after I picked it up...

Default You probably will have to pay normally garages charge

they should have done it and charged you right away. Unless the alignment was included in the price of the strut change. If it was a warranty change then no you should not have to pay

Default but the thing is that he told me strut changes usually don't cause alignment issues...but in this

case it did and made the car pull right when it didn't prior to the service. If it was doing it before, I understand that I would have to pay but if the car didn't come out the same way it went it, I don't think I should have to pay for an alignment?
