Got APR 1+ upgrade and snub mount this morning...
Already had stage 1, originally not going to get 1+, but I figured my next HP/TQ increase was going to be with stage III or something similar and I don't usually have $5,000 lying around, so what the hey. I think it takes a bit to adapt to the new injectors, but on the ride home I could feel the difference mainly in the high end of the curve. Not as drastic as when first chipped obviously, but noticible. It's hard to describe...power band feels more 'complete'. I don't know.
At first I didn't even notice the snub mount (BTW, for some reason I thought there were 2 mounts, but just one apparently) but after paying attention I noticed that the slop and clunk is quite a bit better than before. Very nice. When I got home I noticed that the idle was anywhere from the same to less rough. Maybe it'll change eventually, but right now it's fantastic.
Got the work done at Northern European Automotive in Concord, NH (APR dealer). It's about 100mi from me in central MA, but my only other option is CT and they, not mentioning any names, wanted to charge $100/hr minimum 2hrs when I was in the market for the APR stage 1. NEA charges $65/hr and estimates 1/2 - 1hr for chipping. Ask for Glen. Great guys.

two Questions
1. Do you have a Vag-com.
2. What year is your car.
IF you have a vag com could you check your car in a couple of weeks to see if the chip has thrown any codes.

I must be the only one then...
I have had the 1+ since january and have numerous DTC for the car running lean the code to be exact is 17536, and it occurs every couple of weeks each time after i clear the code.
Is anyone have this problem, APR is looking into my issue as we speak...

hey, mark, where do you live in central mass?
i live in worcester. i've heard that the extra boost was a bit noisier. curious to see what it sounds like, and how the car accelerates...no, not asking to drive your baby :-), just listen and maybe be a passenger. thanks...
