Got E-Codes...........

It was a toss up between; Philips & Osram,..both are good....(cont')
From a few reviews of the newer bulbs, I felt that the Philips Vision Plus was a better bulb. But the Osram Silver Star was Osram's latest offering and was getting good press. I basically decided on the Silver Star for the HB because it has a "silver tip", so less noticeable. I would probably have no problem using either one in LB/HB.
I considered the Blue Vision or Cool Blues. But the blue tint subtracts from the light and they did not seem as impressive as the newer ones in testing/reviews. It's all subjective though. And basically a matter of personal taste in the end. I felt these two brands were very good and I could get them at most online places I knew.
Not sure if the E-Codes have a better beam pattern. I had heard that mentioned. But did not do much testing with stock halogens. The E-Codes and new bulbs definitely throw a nice, intense, beam of light though. Like "firey-white". Visibility seems much improved in front of the car and it throws a good distance. Using the HB's is very intense!
