Default hardwiring v1

Right now my V1 is plugged into the #27 Fuse box. the problem with this is that the V1 stays on even when my engine is off. Has anybody figured out how to wire it so that the V1 will turn on and off w/ the engine? thanks for all the help.

Default same question.

well i have the same problem. the only way i think is to share the electricity with the fuses that turn on or off when the ignition is on. I am not sure but i think the blue plastic thing that came with V1 supposed to tap the wire or something like that. if you get to know how to work it out can you post? Thanks

Default Re: hardwiring v1

I'm getting mine soon. A friend of my tapped his wire to the NAV fuse on his 01 S4. I'm not sure if the 02 have NAV fuse. I have to check it.
