Has anyone dealt with rust warranty on their cars?

Re: What kind of rust? Bubbling? Surface rust?
It's gotten a bit bigger than this, but here's a pic

and that sucks it won't be covered unless there's a hole.

Re: i'd have been at the dealer soon as i saw that bubbling!!!
well, I didn't see it until a couple days ago when I was washing the car. I saw a bubble and when I pressed on it, it cracked.

I hate to say it, but...

My guess is it will not be covered. I had some bubbling on the roof while still under the 4/50k bumper-bumper warranty and even then they didn't immediately cover it. I had to get the AoA rep to look at the car, which meant a second trip back to the dealer. He agreed that it was a "paint issue" and told the dealer to repair it. I think if you're out of warranty, you're screwed.
I think you should still give it a shot. The worst they can say is no, and maybe (big maybe) you can raise hell and they'll cover it.

i've had a small area on the roof of my car repaired under warranty
the corrosion had started under the surface of the paint, so the paint bubbled up a bit. luckily the problem was taken care of before it got serious.
