Default Headlight help,,,,,,,,HELP before i spend another $500

I bought US spec Bi Xenons, now when the shop was installing they called and said the ballasts did not work as the connectors did not work...

Now i was told that some 02s have D2S Bulbs and ballasts, so i assumed that i too had the D2S and that was the problem

Well. I took mine old lights out today and found that the i do have the D1S Bulb and ballast. the only connector that is differnt is the one from the main plug in to the ballast... its a red and brown wire...

Can i cut and resplice the connector from my stock to the new housing?

ANY one do this ? is this an issue. now the bulb fits the houseing and locks in we are talking about 2 wires?

please help

thanks.

Default i was unable to get ecodes... because i have an early 02...

and my hid ignitor had a round (pear shaped) based while the ecodes all had a square base...

as for the connector yes you can modify the connector to work if thats your only problem...

just make sure you dont have the bulb situation i had

Default im pretty sure you can take the connector from the old headlight and solder in to the new one ....

but don't quote me on that until someone seconds that... i know you could do that for the standard xenons i just dont wanna say for sure on the bi-xenons....

i wish i had the square base i got totally screwed
