Help: Stereo is in Safe Mode
#2
What does make it do that?
It is in the owners manual, and you need your radio code. I think you hold RDS and FM1? then input the code. Mine did it randomly a week or so ago. no idea why.

Get into the fuse box, pull and re-install the fuse for the stereo. Should get the stereo working..
again. oh, you'll also need the stereo code that you should have gotten when you bought the car. More details are in the manual. This happened to me and dealer replaced the entire headunit, might check and see if they'll do the same for you.

RTFM! :)
radio's security comes on if radio is tampered with. some radios have glitches and go to this mode by themselves.
you can remove the fuse and put back in, then put the 4 digit code. code should be in manual or in the wheel well in trunk
