How to "pause" a CD with Symphony?

Hi,
Anyone know how to temporarily suspend a CD from playing, or mute the radio for that matter, on a Symphony?

Am I missing something obvious ?

heheh.. I don't use AM, so I keep it tuned to a "dead" station and switch CD to AM to mute/pause CDs

can't be done in the ordinary sense. i miss those features as well
