How does speed sensitive volume work?
I followed all the instructions in the manual, but the volume does not increase when car is moving? (Hold down Menu button, and set SVC to a # like 2,3) Is it supposed too? I have the standard sound system in 2003's.

In my car, not at all that I can tell.
In our new Touareg, it works great... basically the faster you go the more noise there is, so the radio turns up gradually to match. As you go slower it turns back down..

Holding the menu button gets you into the settings...
You can set the SVC between 0 and 5. The point is that it gets slightly louder with speed to compensate for additional road/wind noise. You shouldn't notice it getting louder...you just shouldn't have to turn the volume up higher at 60mph than sitting at a stop light. It won't compensate for the extreme noise of having the windows down though...it works off the speed of the car not the actual noise level.
