Try new pads = Mintex / EBC , but careful if you replace front.

I had Mintex on front of my B5 and experience squeeling no matter how much lube I install.

I'd add that EBC (especially the Green ones) have very weak...

stopping characteristics compared to our OEM's or other pads. I've tried them and they were dangerous in high speed stopping situations. Just my $0.02.
