Default I experienced laser 3 times since I have V1...never got a ticket....

...1st time it was a cop in Detroit just right on the highway shoulder and next 2 times on my Arizona trip. Every time I saw that they shoot laser few times never once (at least from my experience).

This give me anough time to slow down from ~100 to 65-75 mph. Of course it's not really possible in any traffic unless you want to get rear-ended

I think the best combination would be to install laser jammer and V1 this way you got better laser protection and arrows for getting idea where cop is hiding

Default yeah

i've picked up laser twice on my passport without a ticket... once i was directly next to the person getting pulled over on a 2 lane road... the cop was hiding in the bushes ... the person next to me was on the outside and going faster... so he essentially shot the laser across my car... i sort of railed on the brakes and the other guy kept going then got pulled over down the road a little after the cop came out of the bushes

2nd time i just had a feeling cops were around and i picked up laser twice before spotting them (i was the only car in sight)

essentially either time im screwed though... situation 1 he could've pulled me over i guess.... situation 2 i wasn't speeding otherwise the warning wouldn't have helped

i wanna go with the passport 8500 x50 + blinder m20 for ultimate protection from anything

the x50 has amazing range on radar (is a little hit or miss on laser... which i truly don't care about because the jammers will take care of that)

and the blinder m20 is supposed to work very very well and generally have no punch through from laser until you are very close to the cop

i might also get "veil" spray to spray over my headlights

Default can't really say about blinder but with the ZR3 you can use the x50 as the display along with a host

of other info that it communicates. there is more on the escort site.

Default Not funny anymore... have you seen the $US decline over the last 3 years?

Default yeah i knew about that....

but based on testing i think blinder and lidatek out perform the zr3

that being said since i have a passport.. a zr3 would be nice for the reasons you said for communicating with my x50

You are correct. Laser "diffusers" are legal, radar jammers are not.

Default Laser "diffusers"? something that passively spreads the laser so it doesn't bounce back directly?

That would be totally different from a laser jammer in which an electronic device actively takes the received laser, modifies it and sends it back using a laser source...

I would have to assume that legally the two are distinguishable such that one is allowed, and the other isn't.
