as I just finished running the numbers and see that I averaged 26.2mpg at 74mph on my trip from NJ to AZ over the weekend. Even more surprising is that I drove for nearly an hour with the cruise-control set just slightly over 90mph and averaged 25mpg, as the photo above confirms. And perhaps most surprising is that I drove a further 20 minutes with the cruise-control set at 100mph and averaged 23.9mpg ... wow! (You've gotta love driving out west, where the roads are long and straight and not very crowded ... it's the next best thing to driving on the autobahn!)

Damn. I want that 6 speed. I went for a trip this weekend as well and my 3.0 did about 19-20mpg...
..at 82mph overall average. Something's not right on my car. ~75k miles but runs strong.

The best I've done is 27 MPG on a fairly plain stretch of interstate doing about 65 Mph
I'm about 73Mph @ 3k RPM. Auto transmission definitely has a better overdrive gearing than my 6 spd.

WTF. I average 16 mpg. The best I've ever done is 20 mpg
The worst is 6.5 at the track. I've been monitoring my mileage at each tank since I bought the car in August 2006. The car runs great and there are no codes.
